Treatment of a white rhino at Ruma National Park in Homabay County on May 13, 2024

In a sterling collaboration that drives the conservation machinery on Monday, Kenya Wildlife Service veterinarians teamed up to treat an injured white Rhino at the Ruma National Park in Homa Bay.

Led by Kenya Wildlife Service Veterinary Capture unit area head veterinary Dr Ephantus Ndamberi with Dr Mukami Ruoro assisted by Ian Muchina, the white rhino received the best of care.

The white rhino had lost one of its horns during a territorial fight.
