Kenya finished 17th overall at the just concluded 2024 Paris Olympic Games where the country scooped a total of 11 medals.
They included four gold, two silver and five bronze.
Faith Kipyegon blazed to victory in the women's 1500m finishing in 3:51.29 to set a new Olympic record.
Emmanuel Wanyonyi won gold in men's 800m in 1:41.19, the third fastest time ever, just 0.2 seconds behind David Rudisha's 1:40.91 woerld record set in 2012.
Beatrice Chebet on the other hand won two golds, one in the 5000m and the other in 10000m women's race.
