The Kenya Wildlife Service has announced the resumption of normal services on the park entry payment system.
This followed a brief downtime Sunday morning.
In a notice, KWS said the technical hitch that affected payments in all the parks and reserves has been restored.
"We are pleased to inform you that the payment system has been restored and is now fully operational," it said.
In its earlier update, the agency apologised for the inconvenience caused at the entry points noting it was working with the eCitizen team to resolve the problem.
KWS manages 34 parks and reserves in various parts of the country.
The cashless payment mode was rolled out in August last year as part of the government's plan to digitize all its services.
"All park entry payments shall be made through the eCitizen government platform. Note that other forms of payments shall not be accepted at the KWS Parks, Reserves, and Sanctuaries," KWS said in a statement.
As a visitor, you can pay for the services through the mobile phone by simply downloading the e-Citizen mobile app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
You will then create an account or sign in if you already with an account then tap on "Services" and select "Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS)".
After selecting this, you will choose the park, enter the number of adults or children in the party then the payment method either M-Pesa, Airtel Money, or credit/debit card.
