Newly appointed BrighterMonday CEO, Chris Otundo

Chris Otundo has been appointed  as the new Chief Executive Officer of BrighterMonday Kenya, taking over from Brian Ntambirweki who has been the acting CEO for the past one month.

He brings a wealth of  experience in digital talent management to the job placement firm.

He is also experienced in organisation design, job analysis, change management,  employer branding, employee value proposition and human resource information systems implementation.

In a statement, Otundo said that he will work closely with  people and help them discover their job fit and generally to drive the company's goals.

“I enjoy resolving process issues with the goal of achieving objectives faster and more effectively.  I am in my niche and this opportunity gives me the platform to steer the company into a new era," Otundo said.

Embracing the technology advancements in the labour market, he vowed his commitment to be on the lead in providing  solutions to effective career development and recruitment in the continent.

“As we expand our efforts in digital recruitment services, hybrid recruitment services, manpower outsourcing and Partnerships, I am looking forward to a paradigm shift in the market because this is what the African labour market has been waiting for, ” he added.

The African Talent Company (TATC) CEO, Hilda Kragha congratulated the appointee as she challenged him to position both the firm and the East African market for sustainable growth. 

“With his experiences, I believe he is a perfect fit for our brand. We opt that his drive and strong focus on results will be vital in steering the brand into its next phase,” Kragha said.

Expressing his gratitude for working  at BrighterMonday, the outgoing CEO Brian Ntambirweki, said that it has been a privilege to lead the company and he is committed to a smooth transition.
