Group calls for control of plastic waste in the ocean

By 2050, more plastics than fish will fill the ocean across the globe if waste management is not addressed urgently, the Ocean Sole Foundation has said.

Founder Julie Church urged the government to impose a ban on plastic bags and bottles to protect the marine environment, as neighbouring Rwanda and Tanzania have done.
