Woman dies by suicide in Limuru

The police are investigating the circumstances under which a 28-year-old woman died in Limuru.

Reports indicated that she had died by suicide.

James Mburu a resident of Githogo in Kiambu reported that the woman Jane Mwende had hanged herself.

According to police, the incident happened in the bathroom on the shower pipe when her husband was outside.

Reports indicate Mwende went to the house, packed her clothes in a sack before she hanged herself.

According to the police, her husband Jacob Kirima Mutunga was feeding a cow, seemingly unaware of the incident.

No suicide note was found hence the motive remains unknown.

Police arrived at the scene and secured it.

The body was moved to Tigoni Level IV Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
