Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza has retained the services of her two lead advocates in the fresh battle with the county assembly expected to play out at the Senate.
This is the third time Mwangaza is facing an impeachment hearing on the floor of the Senate.
Mwangaza's first impeachment went the committee way while the second was heard by a plenary.
Her fate now lies in the Senate plenary that will hear her case.
Lawyers Elisha Ongoya and Elias Mutuma who led opening and closing submissions for the governor and interrogation of witnesses from the county assembly, respectively, in the second impeachment will once again take to the floor of the Senate to argue the governor's case.
