Lionesses head coach Dennis Mwanja has named a 23 member playing unit to face Madagascar  in the Rugby Africa Women's Cup First Division clash at the Stade Makis on Saturday 20 May 2023.

Sheila Chajira returns for her first test since August 2021, captaining the side from number eight and is part of a back row that also includes Phoebe Akinyi and Diana Kemunto.

Naomi Jelagat and Bernadette Olesia partner in the second row while Natasha Emali, Knight Otwoma and Evelyne Kalemera complete the Kenyan front row trio.

Judith Auma starts at scrum half and with Sinaida Mokaya at fly half while Grace Okulu and Moreen Njoki partner in midfield.

Stellah Wafula and Jean Bisela are deployed on the wings with Ann Goretti starting at fullback.
