The 10 are among several players whom head coach Jackline Juma has called up for the two-legged FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup 2026.
Kenya will face Ethiopia in their opening assignment of the qualifier. The two-legged tie kicks off in Ethiopia between September 19–21, with the return leg set for Nairobi between September 26–28.
The winner of the clash will progress to the third round, where either Tanzania or Angola await in February 2026. Those who have earned call-ups to the provisional team are goalkeepers: Velma Abwire, Scovia Awuor, Ephy Awuor; Defender: Lorine Ilavonga; Midfielders: Rebecca Odato, Halima Imbachi, Elizabeth Ochaka; attackers: Marion Serenge, Valarie Nekesa, and Lornah Faith.
Others are experienced campaigners such as Fasila Adhiambo (midfielder), Emily Moranga (attacker), Molvine Owuor (defender), Velma Kavesh (midfielder), and Elizabeth Mideva (attacker).
