Murang’a Seal are currently taking on the FKF league by storm after securing their second straight win last Saturday against Kakamega Homeboyz with a 1-0 win at St. Sebastian Park.
The gaffer, Vincent Nyaberi, had previously warned other Premier League teams after Seals were promoted into topflight football, saying his squad was not in the league to donate points.
“Nobody should expect us to be pushovers. We are not coming to donate points to other teams in the league. We are ready to make ourselves count,” he said.
The coach, who is also a former Thika United player, also made some changes to his squad in a bid to strengthen the squad for the much more competitive league.
He further added that they will maintain high levels of performance so as to attract more fans and change the footballing narrative in Central Kenya.
"We have no choice but to perform. Good results will attract a good fan base. Our team's jersey will also be available to our supporters at affordable prices," the tactician said.
Since joining the club in January 2021, Nyaberi has seen the upward trajectory of his squad from battling relegation in the 2021 National Super League (NSL to promotion into topflight football within two years.
