Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said the Kenya Kwanza administration will serve all Kenyans irrespective of their political affiliation.

The DP who spoke at the Homa Bay Municipal Market on Friday said President William Ruto's government will not discriminate against any region or tribe.

“President William Ruto has said his government will serve all Kenyans. We have come here because we have brought development,” Gachagua said.

“All the people shall benefit from government development and I know that in the days to come, once we do that, you will love us even more.”

Gachagua hailed the people of Homa Bay for turning up in large numbers to welcome the President, saying it was a demonstration of their hospitality and respect.

"I take my hat off to you the people of Homa Bay for coming out in large numbers to welcome our President,” Gachagua said.

The DP also threw some political jest, telling the people of Luo Nyanza that they had come to court them for future 'interests'.

“We have come to court you so that we can partner in future and I am sure you will like us,” he said.

The DP is among top government officials who have accompanied the President on his first development tour of opposition chief Raila Odinga's Luo Nyanza base.
