West Ham defender, Kurt Zouma, has admitted two animal welfare
Zouma, 27, was charged with two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal after a video of him kicking and slapping his cat was circulated on social media.
The video in which the French international abused a Bengal cat on February 6 went viral online.
His younger brother, Yoan, filmed the incident and posted it on social media.
In the video, Zouma could be seen kicking the cat across his kitchen, before throwing a pair of shoes at it and slapping its head.
He will be sentenced on June 1.
