Jurgen Klopp does not believe Manchester City counterpart Pep Guardiola’s assertion that the whole country is supporting Liverpool is correct.

He said that in Liverpool there are a lot of people who want Liverpool to win the league, but even there "it’s probably only 50 per cent".

After Sunday’s 5-0 demolition of Newcastle which moved the defending champions three points clear at the top of the table, City boss Guardiola said “Everyone in this country supports Liverpool, the media and everyone.
