The gala is organised by PALAC—a sports consultancy firm that aims at redefining modern sports business whilst the same time meeting clienteles' needs in the sports business, practice and education.

The focus is on promoting and celebrating individual brilliance and team efforts among sports men and women in Kenya while inspiring talented footballers at the grassroots.

The objective is to influence talented players to continue pursuing excellence and constant determination in a bid to reach new competitive levels with voting open from December 1-11.

The venue for the event will be known in due course. PALAC Communications officer Chrispin Omondi hopes to have sponsors in subsequent wards.

"We are still negotiating the venue but hopefully a solution will be arrived at as soon as possible. We are organising the function with cash from our pockets but this will change going forward."
