Dream Girls yesterday continued their unbeaten run in the Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) League with a 46-26 victory over Raila Education Centre.

The matches played at the Strathmore University Sports Complex yesterday saw Evelyne Kedogo girls top the log with 40 points from 20 matches.

“We won the game alright but we struggled a lot. The reason behind this was the absence of my usual play-maker and the offence wasn’t good,” offered Kedogo.

“I used two new players, Winnie Wafula and Diana Minage, who were unavailable in the first leg and I am sure they will help going forward.”

Leading the way for Dream Girls was Ruth Akinyi, who led the scoring tally with 12 points. They led 29-23 at half-time.

Second-placed MediPlus Magic whipped Reapers 41-26 with Sharon Ongoro managing 14 points and Lydia Atieno adding 12.

Titans had 14 points from Elsie Njonjo as they beat National Youth Service 65-32. The losers had 11 from Christine Aganwa.

Gladiators blanked Soweto Academy 58-34 as Gertrude Sagala shot 18 points while Adeline Munguti and Prudence Ngendo had 14 each.

In the men’s category, Don Bosco thrashed NYS 60-27. Duncan Mochama nailed 17 points, Lusi Henry 13, and Kelvin Musembi 13 for the winners.

Kitengela Raptors had game high of 32 points from Hussein Segerger and 14 from Patrick Osete as they blanked Saints 68-65.

Africa Nazarene University beat Catholic University of Eastern Africa 42-40 as Derick Akuku scored 13 points for the winners.

In other matches, ANU eclipsed Saints 69-63 in double over-time as Allstars dimmed Legacy 47-43.

Vikings whipped National Youth Service 66-30 and Kivuli dismissed Nairobi Institute of Business Studies Panthers 54-40. CUEA rolled over Gatina Cardinals 53-43.

Old Pirates blanked Kitengela Raptors 57-48 and Sunrise pipped Makueni Flamers 73-70.

MediPlus Magic beat Gladiators 48-41 while Reapers blanked Soweto Academy 49-28.  NYS beat 44-31 victory over NIBS and Raila Education Center nipped The Ivy Morans 38-37.
