National Police Service boxing team 'Chafua Chafua' are the 2022 Kenya national champions after racking up 133 points in Nakuru on Saturday.
The law enforcers' victory was the fourth in the five-course tournament that began in Kitale earlier this year.
A visibly elated head coach Dave Munuhe praised his charges for fighting gallantly to crash the strong opposition.
"In our hearts, we knew we already had the championship in the bag but I warned my boxers to be careful not to fall into the trap of complacency," Munuhe said.
"I am happy that we have been able to retain our title and our focus is now on next year's activities because the Kenya Boxing Federation will be organising a series of tournaments. It will be a busy year for us," Munuhe said.
Kenya Defence Forces 'Defaba' emerged runners up after collecting 112 points as Nairobi County fizzled to a distant third with 46.

A 27-point first-leg win in Kitale gave Kenya Police a flying start to their title defence.
However, they suffered a setback in Meru in the next round, where KDF contained them to romp to the summit of the standings.
A strong performance by the law enforcers in Nanyuki and Mombasa saw them bounce back emphatically to win the third and fourth legs with 30 and 31 points respectively.
Several boxers exhibited unparalleled perfection, consistency, and determination on their way to victory.
