The US Ambassador to Kenya Meg Whitman paid a courtesy call to the Public Service, Gender and Afformative Action CS Aisha Jumwa on Tuesday.
Jumwa said they discussed and explored areas of bilateral partnership and collaboration between the US and Kenyan government.
She said priority areas of the discussion were derived from the Kenya Kwanza manifesto, the Women's Charter and the Medium Term Plan (IV) 2023-2027 of Vision 2030.
These include Women's Economic Empowerment, Ending Gender-based violence and Coordination of Gender-sector working groups.
Also present in the meeting was the Principal Secretary in the State Department of Gender, Veronica Nduva.
