Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has expressed confidence that the new year will bring success and equality to Kenyans.
In a statement on Saturday, Rigathi acknowledged that the year has been challenging for millions of citizens with the high cost of living and the overall struggling economy of the nation.
He however said the last quarter of the year, "brought a beacon of hope with the election of a new democratic government under President William Ruto."
Acknowledging the same, the DP assured that Ruto is committed to steering the country into prosperity come 2023.
"To steer Kenya into prosperity in the new year is H.E. President @WilliamsRuto, a man committed to the restoration of the dignity of the Kenyan people," he said.
Gachagua said the coming year will mark a time in the country when every hustle matters and all hardworking Kenyans are allowed to grow.
He wished Kenyans a happy new year, less than 24 hours to the end of 2022.
"31st Dec. 2022...Happy and prosperous 2023. I wish you peace, the virtues of hard work, and a desire to succeed. God Bless You All, God Bless Kenya," he said.
