KBF lines up record 31 league games this weekend

The fixtures, spread in six venues, will see games played in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Vihiga and Kisii.

• Premier league matches in the city will see Equity Bank meet Umoja while Storms play Africa Nazarene University.

• Strathmore University teams- Blades and Swords travel to Mombasa where they will be hosted by Kenya Ports Authority.

In an effort to end the league within the calendar year, Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) have this weekend lined up a total of 31 matches.

The fixtures, spread in six venues,  will see games played in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Vihiga and Kisii. Fourteen  more are lined up for Wednesday.

Strathmore University teams—Blades and Swords travel to Mombasa where they will be hosted by Kenya Ports Authority. Also headed to the coastal city are Africa women club championship bronze medalist, Eagle Wings and Thunder.

Premier league matches in the city will see Equity Bank meet Umoja while Storms play Africa Nazarene University.

Reigning women champions Equity Bank, humiliated 78-48 in Mombasa last week, meet sharp shooting Zetech University Sparks. Eldonets have their hands full as they host University of Nairobi Terrorists and Equity Bank at their Uasin Gishu Primary courts.

The campus lads will then move to Kisumu to tackle Lakeside who also host Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA) University.

University of Nairobi Dynamites will also be in the lake side town, where they will confront home girls Lady Bucks. KBF fixtures Secretary Joseph Amoko has called on all teams to cooperate by honouring their games as per the schedule.
