Soy United beat Luanda 1-0 at Eldoret Showground on Wednesday through Alfred Ratolo. They travel to Homa Bay to face the Michael Olunga Foundation Academy (Mofa) on Sunday at Raila Odinga Stadium.
Coach Odongo said, "It will be a tough outing, but we will get good results. The three points against Luanda Villa pushed us up the table, and we intend to collect more points in the upcoming games to enable us to earn promotion to the top-tier."
Soy were promoted to the second-tier alongside Gucha Stars and Kabati Youth. The highlight of the weekend will be a Vihiga County derby between Luanda Villa and winless Vihiga United at Mumboha Playground.
Gucha Stars, so far unbeaten in the league, will seek their second win of the season when they host Fortune Sacco at Gusii Stadium.
