Over 200 golfers to feature in 17th leg of KCB East Africa Golf Tour at Sigona

Golfers will battle for the race to book their slots in the tour’s grand finale slated for December 5, 2025.

The 17th leg of the KCB East Africa Golf Tour heads to the 18-hole Sigona Golf Course on Saturday with over 200 players battling for slots to the tour’s grand finale on December 5.

The top two teams from the weekend’s action will qualify for the grand finale.

Sigona Golf Club Captain Sammy Mwiti said: “This competition has played an integral role in advancing the growth of the sport. We welcome all golfers to our course, which is in pristine condition. We look forward to a fantastic outing on Saturday.”

“The KCB East Africa Golf Tour is more than just a sporting event; it is a platform for regional integration, talent development, and economic empowerment. As we head to Sigona, we are excited to witness great competition and camaraderie, and to further entrench golf as a key sport for social impact across the region,” noted KCB Group Director Marketing and Communications Rosalind Gichuru.

The 2025 edition has featured over 2,000 players across the East African region and engaged more than 1,000 juniors in clinics, which run concurrently with the tournament.

The club that produces the winning team during the tour’s grand finale on December 5 will receive a Sh1m cash reward to support a sustainability initiative at their club. In addition, the winning team will be sponsored to participate in a prestigious international tournament.
