Kipchumba Hardison was feted the best libero and the 3-0 rout of Prisons is a testament to the unmatched displays.
Despite the calamitous loss, Kenya Prisons produced two players in the awards category.
Dennis Esokon was named the best left attacker. The soft-spoken player was instrumental as his team cut short GSU's dominance by claiming their first title in more than five years. He oozed class in Eldoret and his imposing presence on the court was evident.
Kevin Maiyo was handed the best setter accolade as Brian Kimonde settled for the best middle blocker title.
In the women's category, KCB's Esther Mutinda got the best setter accolade. She was crucial as the bankers beat Kenya Pipeline 3-1 to lay hands on the title.
Fast-rising Pauline Chemutai (KCB) won the MVP award. The Kwanthanze Secondary School alumnus is tipped to earn a first call-up into the Malkia Striker's set-up.
Pipeline trio of libero Agripina Kundu, Pamela Adhiambo (opposite), and Lydia Iswan (middle blocker) were also on the podium as Valentine Chemutai (Postbank) was named best attacker.
