Go for maximum points or face the axe, Bunyore Starlets warned

Arunga said the match between Bunyore Starlets and Nakuru City Queens on Saturday will​​ determine their future in the top tier.

Bunyore Starlets' tactician Daniel Arunga wants his charges to go for maximum points against Nakuru City Queens at Mumboha Stadium on Saturday or risk relegation.

Arunga said the match between Bunyore Starlets and Nakuru City Queens on Saturday will​​ determine their future in the top tier. 

"This match will determine if we will be relegated or will remain in the 2023/2024 Kenya Women Kenya Premier League (KWPL) season," he added.

"We have been left with only one match to end the season and we only need a point to participate in the next season's matches. So it's upon us," Arunga said in an interview.

"We only require one point to sustain ourselves in the league for the coming season," he noted.

Kisumu All Starlets are set to face Trans Nzoia Falcons at Moi Stadium in Kisumu as they seek to evade relegation. 

Kisumu All-Starlets tactician Juma Said in a previous interview accused the FKF of plotting their relegation.

"We had a match with Kangemi Ladies in Nairobi but we never played that match, despite camping in the city for the whole week," Juma said.

Gaspo Ladies have already written to FKF, forfeiting their points against Vihiga Queens.
