Stanchart marathon to partner with Athletics Kenya

Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon is set to partner with Athletics Kenya to further strengthen their decade-long collaboration that has been existing for years.

The announcement will be made on May 18 at the standard chartered head office, Chiromo road, Westlands.

The chairman of the marathon Peter Gitau and AK president Paul Tuwei are expected to grace the event.

"In attendance will be stakeholders from Athletics Kenya and the private sector, sponsors and athletes," a press statement read in part.

The standard chartered marathon is an annual event held in Nairobi. This year's edition will be staged on October 29.

The prestigious marathon involves the 42km (both male and female), 21km (both genders), 21km wheelchair, 10km and the corporate relay.
