The Government on Thursday conducted a food distribution exercise in Wajir.
Lorries arrived at Ariswajir Village in Wajir county with 600 bags for distribution to families.
Each bag contained Maize flour, porridge flour, cooking oil, beans, rice and salt.
Wajir is among the counties facing an acute hunger crisis due to the ongoing drought situation in the country.
Other counties facing acute hunger are Samburu, Marsabit, Garissa, Mandera and Isiolo.
