Vihiga United FC tactician Sammy Okoth has lamented his poor striking force as the team continues to lose ground in the Kenyan Premier League campaign.

Okoth said there is an urgent need for his strikers to pull up their socks if they are going to fight for their top-flight status.

“For instance, in our previous match against Kariobangi Sharks, we created many chances but we couldn’t score. We even lost a penalty,” he said.

He said they must get their act together when they face Bandari at Mbaraki Stadium Tuesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Kakamega Homeboyz' coach Nicholas Muyoti has urged his boys to keep their fighting spirit as they target to silence Zoo Kericho in Wednesday's KPL encounter at Green Stadium, Kericho.

“If we keep our fighting spirit, we can even end up in the top three,” Muyoti said.
