In celebration of World Francophone Day, a cocktail was held at the Alliance Francaise on Thursday night. Coincidentally, it fell on the same day the world was making the International Day of Happiness.
Francophone Day brings together different countries and institutions who are interested in the French language. The guest of honour was Congolese ambassador Tadumi On'koko. France ambassador Rémi Maréchaux with his Greece counterpart Eleftherios Kouvaritakis and DRC embassy's Micheal Mubare and his wife Julie Mubare were also in attendance.
