Agriculture and Food Authority(AFA) has announced the relocation of their services to the E-Citizen platform.
They said the services that have been moved include registration, application for licenses and permits.
In an announcement on Tuesday, they said the move follows the presidential directive on digitalization of payment for government services.
"Agriculture and Food Authority wishes to notify all stakeholders and the general public that following the presidential directive on digitalization of payment for government services, the authority has migrated all services to the E-Citizen platform," they said.
AFA said the move was effective August 11.
They also noted that the services offered by the seven directorates include horticultural crops directorate, food crops, nuts and oil crops, sugar, coffee, miraa, pyrethrum and other industrial crops and fibre crops.
The authority said all other revenue collection systems were closed with effect from August 11.
"All persons applying for any of the above services are advised to pay for services by logging in to E-Citizen; https://accounts.ecitizen.go.ke/en/ then access the Agriculture and Food Authority link from amongst the government institutions," they said.
After logging into the platform, one is advised to click on any of the listed services which will be redirected to AFA-IMIS portal.
You then select the directorate and the service required, make your application, track your application, make payment as prompted then print the document for the service applied for.
After completing the whole process, AFA will receive the request and offer the service as required.
