A Thika businessman William Gatuhi Murathe has died aged 86. The father of former Gatanga MP David Murathe passed away on Saturday while undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital. He has been doing business in the town for more than four decades.
Gatuhi was the proprietor of Murathe Plaza, a major wines and spirits dealer,
and a coffee farmer. He was among pioneers of Africanisation programme.
