Comedian Eric Omondi has pledged to help internet sensation Stephen Bhingi, popularly known as Ras Bhingi after a video showing his flooded house emerged.
Eric shared the video of Bhingi on his Instagram on Tuesday and asked the public to share the creator's contact.
Bhingi is popularly known for his way of dressing in an oversized Rasta hat, Gideon boots, camouflage pants and a jacket.
"Yaani hii Kenya siezi pumzika hata siku moja. Someone DM me his number. Huyu tunamhamisha leo na tunachange life yake forever," Eric said.
In the video, Bhingi is seen showing how his house was flooded.
"Hii ndio mashida tunapitia. Ebu oneni keja. Real life, huku ni keja na ni usiku sijui nifanye aje, mvua bado inanyesha. Hii life tunaishi hard life. Its even hard to say. Na bado kunaendelea tu kunyesha. Hapa ni kwangu, hadi nashangaa tu," he said.
This loosely translates to, "This is the life we go through. Just see my house. Real life, it's night and I do not know what to do since the rains haven't stopped. This life that we live is so hard, I don't even know what to say."
Bhingi was among the guests invited to the State House for the monetisation of content on Facebook, Reels and Instagram.
Bhingi went viral for his Rasta-inspired TikTok content.
In his content, he is mainly seen either dancing or playing some reggae tunes.
Bhingi has been appearing in several media interviews, speaking about his life and how he first fell in love with reggae.
