Bongo star Rayvanny has paid tribute to former boss Diamond Platnumz for mentoring his career.

The duo reunited by dropping a new song, 'Nitongoze'.

In a post on his Instagram, Rayvanny said they recorded the song before his exit from Wasafi.

He praised Diamond, saying all the songs they have done together became hit songs.

The lyric audio has garnered 500,000 views on YouTube and is at number 10 on trending on YouTube.

"My brother Diamond, I love you no matter what happens between us. There could never be Rayvanny without Diamond," he wrote.

Rayvanny terminated his contract with Wasafi early this year. He was charged Tsh 800 million (Ksh40 million) to exit the record label.

He was also allegedly charged TSh50 million (KSh2.5 million) for performing at Nandy's festival without obtaining clearance from Wasafi Records as per the contract, whose termination had not been finalised by then.
