Stivo Simple Boy now says he is a gospel artiste.

The 'Freshi Barida' singer told Presenter Ali his love song 'Freshi Barida' is also a gospel song.

"You should go ahead and listen to the song, the lyrics are purely saint and gospel," he said.

The Kibra singer, however, has no problem with his music being played in clubs.

"Jesus Christ came to save the sinners and so that's the plan," he said.

"You can't conclude that I am not a gospel artist because I do lovey-dovey songs. Even in the Bible, the book of Psalms, they talk about love."

A few weeks ago, he caused a stir after saying couples who love each other should not use protection.

"No condoms, even in the Bible, condoms are not mentioned. It is not there," he said.
