Tanasha's son was born in October 2019.
Tanasha told fans in a late-night Instagram Live session that she is excited about her mum meeting her son in a few weeks.
Tanasha's mum is said to reside in Belgium.
"Can you imagine, my mother has never met my son?" Tanasha said.
"I don't want to start tearing up on this live right now. But my mother has never met my son. And she is going to meet him for the first time in three weeks, and I'm so excited. It is going to be such an emotional moment for me and I cannot wait."
Tanasha Donna Oketch was born in England to a Kenyan mother and an Italian father.
She grew up partly in Kenya and in Europe, where her mum lives with her stepdad.
The singer, who went on week-long birthday vacation in Dubai, said she misses her son anytime she leaves him back home.
"I miss my baby so much, you know. When I travel for work, he is in school and he has so much work at school, he loves school," she said.
She finds it hard to leave her son back home.
"It has been five days now, I feel so empty; I feel like something is missing. So I cannot wait to go back to him," she said.
In previous interviews, Tanasha said her biological dad walked out on her mum when Tanasha was just a few months old. Her mum turned 51 in May this year.
In a past interview with Word Is, Tanasha said she is very close to her mother and grandmother.
Tanasha also indicated that she did not meet Diamond’s expectations when they dated.
"And it’s not because of anything emotional but it's because of not leaving up to certain expectations he had," she said.
"It’s not his fault because everybody is wired the way they are and when you don’t live up to this person’s expectations, for some people it’s not easy to hang on. So, I feel that’s where things started going down, because I really wanted to be my own person as well as be in this relationship."
Speaking during the live session, Tanasha said she will be dropping another video in August.
"I got a UK rapper to feature on the remix of the song, not the original, which is coming out first," she said.
"On the remix, it is a very big deal for me, because I'm trying to venture into all these other markets."
