Lillian graces Governor Mutua's exclusive birthday party

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua is celebrating his 51 birthday at an all-white party for his friends and fans at Ole Sereni Hotel.

His close friends in the political arena, family and a few celebrities are among those present at the event.

Speaking during the event, Mutua said this was the first birthday party he is holding in his entire life.

He further thanked people who have been in his life among them politicians who nurtured his political journey

"I am very happy to see all of you here. This is the first birthday I have ever had in my life. I want to thank all the people who have been in my life. This is the first birthday party I have ever had in my entire life. Thank you all for coming. My parents, my sister, my teacher my pastors, my friends," Mutua said.

He added; "The people who have been there for me politically. Hon Muthaura, Former president Mwai Kibaki, President Uhuru Kenyatta, Hon Raila Odinga who have been there for me nurturing me."

His ex-wife Lilian Ng'ang'a joined Mutua in his birthday party celebrations. She rocked a black dress and blue six-inch heels.

Mutua was dressed in a white army outfit, with a touch of yellow and purple.

Mutua said the best thing is to be happy and be there for each other.

''Life is about sharing and caring and keeping no grudges and lifting people up and moving on with life. I am in the second half of my life. I am very have happy especially because of the blessing of God.''

Mutua who held a joint birthday party with Wasafi's signee Rayvanny also celebrated the artiste.

''I am also very happy to share my birthday with this young man Rayvanny who is turning 28 years. We share so much with him and I want to thank him for coming and Happy birthday to him.

ODM leader Raila Odinga who was in attendance said life begins at 50.

"You are as old as you want to be. I feel like I am now 18, living life at its best. I want to congratulate Rayvanny here for coming all the way from Tanzania. 

I want to congratulate Alfred because he has done a number of good things.

"In his short life, he is getting younger, and getting new flowers all the time, to continue making him younger and younger," he said.

Other public figures who attended the birthday includes; Comedian Churchill, TV anchor Trevor Ombija, Homeboyz Radio's Kelly Martin among others.
