Gospel singer Mash Mwana has lost his father to Covid-19.
The singer announced the sad news on his Instagram page when recording an emotional video.
'The first time I heard about the coronavirus, I thought it was just normal but right now my father is no more," he said.
"He has just died today because of the coronavirus."
He went on to caption it, "R.I.P, dad. I love you."
Mwana is asking fans to help him settle the Sh500,000 hospital bill he has been left with.
"Today I lost my dad who was ill and admitted to the hospital. I have a pending bill of 500k to sort out within 48 hours. I need all my real ones to come through with me on this one."
