Mosha tapped to lead E Africa stars

She will help Sony expand its regional roster

Sony Music Entertainment Africa has appointed Christine Mosha, alias ‘Seven’, to lead marketing and artist development for the East African region.

Mosha will build out the company’s roster of local talent and amplify its international catalogue across the region from her base in Tanzania.

Sony Music Africa MD Sean Watson said that Mosha has spent most of her life contributing to the African entertainment industry.

"We are delighted to have her on board, helping expand our East African roster."

Mosha said she is excited and looks forward to keep making a positive impact in the industry. She has more than 15 years' experience.

In 2017, she founded record label Rockstar Africa, where she delivered commercial success for many renowned East African artistes, including Lady Jaydee, Ray C, TID, Rose Muhando, Xtatic, Alikiba and Ommy Dimpoz.
