WhatsApp: No more scrolling for older messages

WhatsApp will soon roll out a feature that will enable users to look for a message from any desired date without scrolling all the way up.

The feature, which was first spotted by WABetaInfo, was tested two years ago but was scrapped.

Users will be able to click the calendar icon on the right side of the keyboard.

This will quickly help users jump to a certain date so they can start reading all messages from that exact date.

To dismiss the date view, users can just scroll through the conversation.

This feature will be very useful, particularly when you want to discover the first message shared with a certain contact or you want to read what messages were shared on a certain date.
