In line with supporting Kenyan artists and art, Alliance Française hosted the opening night of the exhibition Exodus on Thursday evening by Allan Simba.
Born in Mombasa, he started painting at a very young age. "Like water, I think of each piece as a window in a cottage, each of them offering a different view," he said.
The fury of living in a complex world influences Simba's art.
In attendance were Nairobi Alliance Française director Denis Courdent and art enthusiasts.
The exhibition runs until March 3.
