Crispy on the sides and moist in the middle, chocolate chip cookies are a perfect family snack, prepared with just a few ingredients.
To keep the cookies moist, you can add a slice of bread on top of the cookies in the container in case you feel they are hardening.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter, melted
- 2 cups of white/ brown sugar
- 2 eggs, large
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons hot water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius

Using a bowl or mixer, combine the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. Dissolve baking soda in hot water, before adding it to the batter.
Step 4
Stir in the flour and chocolate chips.
Step 5
Scoop the paste, and place it on an ungreased pan after choosing the desired shape. Ensure they are not too close to each other.
Step 6
Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
Remove from oven and cool. Serve warm with a glass of milk or preferred beverage.
