Sticky wings make a fantastic appetizer for friends and family.
Together with fries or pasta, sticky wings can go really well depending on your preference.
Ingredients
- 3 chicken wings and 3 drum sticks
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
- Vegetable oil
- ½ cup honey
- Ginger
- 1 cup Soy sauce ( low sodium)
- ½ lemon, juiced
Preparation
Step 1
Rinse the chicken wings with salty water.
Step 2
Separate each wing at the joint into two pieces.
Step 3
In a bowl, place the wings and the drums and pour in soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder and lemon juice. Toss well to coat and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 4
Remove from fridge and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
In a pan, over medium heat, put the oil and coat the wings with honey as you sauté.
Step 6
Fry each side until brown for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Coat with sesame seeds as desired and serve while warm.
Step 8
Enjoy with a cold glass of mango juice over fries.
