While on an interview at Obinna Show Live, to promote their new music together, Mustapha did the unexpected and pulled out a ring to propose.
This gesture backfired as Noti Flow rejected the musician, revealing she is already taken.
At first, Noti Flow thought Mustapha was joking, calling it a prank, before Mustapha clarified that his intentions to marry her are real.
“I am sorry, but I love you as a friend,” Noti Flow said in rejection to the surprise proposal, hanging Mustapha out to dry.
Following the rejection, Noti Flow went on to reveal that she has been seeing someone for almost 2 years now, which was new information to both the host, Obinna, and Mustapha.
Noti Flow also revealed that she is not ready to get into marriage altogether, saying she wants to figure out stuff, get back to music, and focus on her businesses.
The two musicians, who have a romantic history together, previously dated before a dramatic breakup that was made public with allegations of physical abuse and other ups and downs.
Recently, the two reconciled and had a reunion on live TV, where Mustapha surprised Noti Flow with a bouquet of flowers.
This sent excitement to their fans and left the Kenyan music scene in a frenzy following their reunion with a new project together.
Noti Flow revealed that she reached out to Mustapha, which led to the release of their latest track, 'Katika', marking their first step towards reclaiming their spot on the Kenyan music scene.
Their reunion has signalled the pair's musical comeback and also marks the authenticity of their reconciliation.
