Gloria Kyallo, the youngest sister of journalist Betty Kyallo, and her ex-lover, Ken, reunited to celebrate her dog's 3rd birthday on Sunday, July 27, 2025.
She celebrated her dog by organising a small but meaningful
picnic at the Ngong hills.
Her sister Mercy Kyallo and her ex-boyfriend Ken, who co-parent their dogs, also joined in celebrating the dog's birthday.
Gloria also shared a heartfelt message to her dog on Instagram, describing it as smart and brave.
“Happiest birthday to my sweetest little boy, you are so
brave, so smart, so pretty,” she wrote on her IG. “You and your siblings are my
greatest loves.”
Lulu, Luka, and Linky, Gloria's three beloved dogs, receive
equal affection and care from both parents.
In a video she posted on Instagram, Gloria said,:
“Co-parenting dogs is not as different as co-parenting kids. Sometimes I’m with
Ken’s dogs, and sometimes he’s with mine. They get a full experience because
they are with both parents.”
Ken, who also appeared in the video, echoed the sentiments by saying:
“The only difference is that one is a human being and the other is a
dog, but the roles are just the same.”
Despite their breakup, the two have shown support and immense
love when it comes to matters involving their dogs.
It might have been a low-key picnic, but with snacks,
birthday goodies, and epic views of the hills, it was clear that this pet
celebration was a big deal.
Gloria has always expressed her love for her pets, not just
on their birthday but in many different ways, as she shares on her social
