Lupita, Joshua Jackson light up social media with beach photos on her 41st birthday

Oscar Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o and Hollywood actor Joshua Jackson seem to have taken their relationship public.

On March 3, photos circulated online, showed Lupita holding hands with Joshua during a romantic walk on the beach in their swimsuits.

The two were in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where they had a getaway in honor of Lupita's 41st birthday.

They were seen running into the ocean together.

As they walked along the shore, they could also be seen chatting as they held hands.

The Black Panther actress was wearing a patterned two-piece bikini while the former Dawson's Creek actor Joshua was in long black swim trunks.

According to E! News, an exclusive source said that Joshua rang in the US actress' 41st birthday on March 1 with a large balloon display and a stunning bouquet set up in their hotel suite.

"They looked madly in love. Like they just couldn't get enough of one another," an eyewitness shared with E! News.

Lupita and Jackson sparked dating rumours last year after the two were spotted on a romantic walk.

The Hollywood actor was also spotted casually running errands with Lupita at a local market accompanied by her cat Yoyo.

The sighting done by TMZ last year, came after the pair hung out together with friends at a Janelle Monáe concert in mid-October.

They sparked speculation that they were an item when they enjoyed the concert together.

This came shortly after their respective splits; Jackson with actress Jodie Turner-Smith and Lupita with presenter Selema Masekela was announced.

At the time, the Kenyan-born actress had shared a cryptic Instagram message about her engagement to Selema Masekela, which seemed to indicate they had broken up. 

The Oscar winner wrote in the caption that she was in a relationship that was “suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception.”

Jackson's wife had filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences” as the reasons for their separation.
