Media personality Ciru Muriuki has said that it has been one month of pain following the death of her fiancé, Charles 'Charli' Ouda.

In a post seen by the Star, Ciru said that it has been a month without the love of her life and she longs to see him again.

She went on to say that her life will forever be better because Charli was in it. 

The media personality also said that there can never be goodbyes between them.

"One month. One month without you. One month of pain I didn’t think was possible. You were my favourite hello and my hardest goodbye. But there can never be goodbyes between us. Just the longing to see you again. My life will forever be better because you were in it. I love you Ceej. Forever and always," Ciru said on Instagram.

Muriuki has, in a glowing tribute to late fiancé Charles 'Charli' Ouda said that she has never been loved by anyone like Charli did.

Speaking at the Baraza Media Lab, where a vigil was held in honour of Charli, Ciru narrated details of how they first met and how they grew to become love birds.

In Ciru's tribute, she stated that even to her, their love story took her by surprise.

Charli, a celebrated actor died about six months after they had gotten engaged. The two were set to walk down the aisle sometime this year.

The family of Charles Ouda, 38, announced his untimely death on Sunday, February 4, 2024.

"Dear friends and family, it is with great sadness that we share the passing of Charles 'Charlie' J Ouda on the night of February 3, 2024," read the statement.

Ouda, renowned for his noteworthy contributions to diverse film projects such as Makutano Junction, The First Grader, and Count It Out, was not only a gifted actor but also a distinguished film director and scriptwriter.

Charlie has also starred in other television shows like The Know Zone Changing Times (KTN), Higher LearningChangesMali (NTV), Second FamilyCrime and Justice (Showmax) and Salem (Maisha Magic).

His outstanding abilities garnered him numerous accolades, including the prestigious title of Best Director at the 2016 Asian American Film Lab 72 Hour Shoot Out and multiple awards from the NYC Indie Film Awards.
