Cebbie Koks, the sister to Kenyan singer Akothee did not attend her sister's Easter holiday wedding, something that Kenyans are criticising her for.
However, Akothee too did not attend her wedding last year. She wedded lawyer Steve Ogolla.
Akothee cited a strained relationship as why she could not be part of the function.
“We are having another event in December which I am also happy about. I am so happy. From the bottom of my heart, I mean well. The only thing is I was not going to go to that wedding anyway because me and my younger sister have not been in good terms for close to a year now, maybe you do not know. I haven’t said she is evil but I packed my bags out of that relationship."
From the horse-drawn carriage to the fabulous money gifts Akothee was showered with, Cebbie missed it all.
Instead, Cebbie appeared to have been in Kisumu for a Plus Size women's event. She showed off her look and was joined by two friends on her TikTok account.
"Hi guys we are here for Kisumu plus size fashion. This is Imperial Sarova," Cebbie announced.
But Kenyans commenting under the post reminded her that the only thing they wanted to pay attention to is Akothee's wedding.
Others mocked her for being left out of the wedding over sibling rivalry as the two sisters have not been seeing eye to eye over an undisclosed beef.
