According to motoring enthusiasts, a buyer seeking to purchase a Tesla Model 3 for $47,690 would need to earn about $111,000 annually, or $6,562 take-home to cover the $652 monthly payment.
When placing an order on the Tesla website, consumers can customize various elements of the vehicle including the paint, the wheels, the interior, and whether to add Full Self-Driving.
The latter of which is what Teslas have become known for and increases the cost by $12,000.
When it comes to the paint, any Tesla vehicle can be ordered in either Pearl White, Solid Black, Midnight Silver Metallic, Deep Blue Metallic, or Red Multi-Coat.
