Ruto's key pledges during Mashujaa day fete

President William Ruto on Thursday presided over his first national event since being elected at the August general election.

This was after he graced the 59th Mashujaa Day celebrations held at the refurbished Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi.

The event was also added by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, speakers of the Senate and National Assembly and Cabinest Secretary nominees.

Ruto pledged to deliver on a number of issues including construction of 100 new dams and provision of six million bags of fertiliser by April next year.
