Cord leader Raila Odinga led Opposition leaders on a visit to Garissa county on Saturday, two weeks after one by Jubilee.
Raila, Cord co-principal Moses Wetang'ula and
Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho were hosted by Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi and Senator Farah Maalim.
Others who accompanied him included Senators Johnstone Muthama (Machakos) James Orengo (Siaya), and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed.
They are holding a rally in Garissa Town, whose MP Aden Duale is a major critic of Raila.
Key on Raila's agenda is his bid for presidency come the 2017 general election set for August.
He is also expected to reiterate calls for dialogue over the disbandment of the IEBC ahead of the poll.
The Opposition chief has accused the commission of corruption and getting in the way of its Okoa Kenya referendum drive.
He that is to hold talks on the matter with a team representing the Jubilee government.
Raila has maintained that he reached an agreement with President Uhuru Kenyatta to form a 10-member team to hold the talks.
He said the deal was reached when he visited State House with Wetang'ula, who is also Bungoma Senator. But Uhuru denied this during the annual national prayer breakfast on Friday.

The Cord leader visited Garissa University College, which had been closed following a massacre of 147 by al Shabaab militants on April 2, 2015.
He is expected to comment on Kenya's decision to for reasons including security and the strain it has put on the economy.
The President launched several development projects when he visited Garissa, Wajir and Mandera counties.
