Heavy traffic is currently being experienced on Outering Road after a conductor allegedly threw out a passenger from a moving vehicle at Kware stage leading to his death.
Details are still scanty but videos shared online appeared to show a burning matatu on the road.
A commuter caught up in the ensuing traffic snarl-up said they had been stuck on the road for hours.
"Outering Road is a no-go zone. We have had to find an alternative route. Traffic is not moving at all," she told the Star on the phone.
"We were approaching Donholm and we had to look for an alternative to get to Umoja because the traffic was bad," she added.
