In Summary

•Up to date, there is still a huge percentage of women who undergo suffering and humiliation by men.

•This can be eradicated by women standing firm for their rights which can only succeed when they have been represented well in the government.

Gender Equality

Over the past few years, there has been a tremendous achievement in gender equality and fair representation.

However, more efforts are needed especially now that we are in the electioneering period.

Women need to stand firm and contest for political seats to ensure that they meet the two-thirds gender rule.

In leadership and representation, the government has done a good job of giving women a chance in top positions.

Despite all these, women should contest for political seats to spearhead the interests of other women.

Up to date, there is still a huge percentage of women who undergo suffering and humiliation by men.

This shows how traces of women harassment is still evident in society.

This can be eradicated by women standing firm for their rights which can only succeed when they have been represented well in the government.

Having a look at real-life experiences women have suffered a lot. By electing women a lot of changes will be made because they will fight for the rights of other women.

Women should therefore stand firm, contest for political seats to increase women representation in the government and change the future lives of other women.
